Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ
About This Spot
Pulling into Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ, you immediately sense the kind of down-to-earth warmth that makes you feel right at home, even if it’s your first visit. Nestled in the heart of Celina, this spot hums with the steady rhythm of familiar chatter and the inviting aroma of smoked meats slowly coaxing a hunger you didn’t realize had been building. The pace here is unhurried but purposeful — a comfortable balance between the bustling energy of a local favorite and the relaxed ease of a place where folks linger over good food and conversation.
The atmosphere is straightforward and welcoming, almost like stepping into a neighbor’s well-loved kitchen where everyone knows to grab a plate and settle in. The line might stretch out on busy days, hinting at the care behind every order, and while the young staff members take hurried turns at the register, their service suggests a community spot that’s grown by word of mouth rather than polished salesmanship.
On the plate, you find a reassuring variety that speaks to classic barbecue traditions but with little touches that keep things exciting. The meats invite you to savor smoky, tender bites—whether it’s the tender ribs or the famously juicy pulled pork that has drawn repeat visitors from near and far. It's the kind of place where a half chicken or a loaded baked potato feels like comfort wrapped up in each forkful, where sides like mayo slaw and twisted taters add just the right crunch or creaminess to round out the meal.
For those passing through between Kentucky and Tennessee, it’s not just an eating spot but a purposeful pause, a place to recharge with simple, honest flavors crafted quickly and served simply. The hum of conversation, the casual hustle, and the slow-release satisfaction of good barbecue make Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ less about fuss and more about those quiet, joyful moments shared over a meal built on tradition and heart.

The 1/2 chicken we ordered was fantastic! The place was busy, so the service reflected as such. I really wanted a loaded baked potato, but they only offer them Thursday- Sunday, and we visited on a Wednesday. However, we went back on Saturday, and after standing in like for 20 minutes to order, they were out of baked potatoes! A big disappointment, so I ordered the 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger instead, which was very good. I wish I could expound on the loaded baked potato, but so far, I have struck out in trying them!

We weren’t looking for a lunch place. But we drove past and the smell captured us! We immediately turned around to taste the smells. Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! It was even better than I thought it could be! I had the pulled pork and chicken breast. This is the best pulled pork I’ve found in Tennessee. Okay, probably the best I’ve found anywhere! It was so full of flavor and it was juicy and perfect! My boyfriend had the sampler with the pork chop, pulled pork, and chicken breast. The pork chop just fell apart and was incredibly tender. Again, the best we’ve found. We will be making trips here just to eat. Absolutely amazing food!

Always great food! Sometimes the little girls taking the orders aren’t very friendly but they do have good food. We get a mayo slaw dog and they are so yummy.
